What is MOBROG?

MOBROG (Ireland) is a service offered by the SPLENDID RESEARCH GmbH market research institute that allows consumers to register for surveys online or with a mobile phone at no cost or obligation and to get paid for their participation.

How do the surveys work?

Online surveys: You will receive an invitation to participate in the survey by e-mail. The invitation e-mail will contain a link to the survey and a short description of the subject matter. The survey will start once you click on the link: You will be asked questions that you can answer with a simple click of the mouse or by entering text.
Mobile phone surveys: Just have a look at your MOBROG app from time to time to see if a new survey is waiting for you. You can then immediately and conveniently participate in the survey using your mobile phone.

What kinds of surveys are offered?

The surveys can be about a wide variety of topics, such as: your travel preferences, your feelings about certain products, or your opinion on advertising. The results help companies develop new products or adapt to the needs of consumers. In this respect, you benefit simply by helping out.

Am I obligated to participate in every survey?

Of course not. You decide if you want to participate in a survey or not.

What happens to my personal information and the answers I give in a survey?

The personal data you enter during registration or when updating your profile stays with us. It is used in the selection process to determine if you are a potential participant for a given survey. This information is never passed on to third parties under any circumstances.

The answers you give during a survey cannot be traced back to you personally. The data is always summarized for the analysis, for example, “62% of the respondents think …”

Do I get anything for participating in a survey?

Yes! We reward your participation in our surveys on the online panel or with the MOBROG app. After completing the survey, you will receive credit on your participant account. The amount will vary based on the length of the survey. You can then have your money paid out via PayPal.

What is PayPal and how do I get a PayPal account?

PayPal allows companies and private customers to safely and conveniently send and receive money at a low cost using an e-mail address. You can register here:

My e-mail address with MOBROG is different from my PayPal e-mail address.

You can use multiple e-mail addresses with your PayPal account. Simply add the e-mail address you use with MOBROG to your PayPal account.

Is there any other way I can have the money paid out?

MOBROG only uses PayPal to pay out money. We consider PayPal to be the safest payment option, since your bank account information remains secret when using this method.

How can I transfer my earned money to Paypal?

1. Login to your MOBROG panel account.
2. Click on "My Earned Points"
3. Once you have reached the redeemable amount click on the "update" button and your money will be transferred to your online account at PayPal.
4. Please make sure that you login to your PayPal account and accept the transfer.
5. Done

How often will I be invited to participate in a survey?

You can indicate how often you want to be invited to participate in a survey in your profile. It is, however, impossible to say how many survey invitations will be sent to you.

Many participants receive two to three invitations from MOBROG each month; daily surveys are often available via our mobile app. The participants are always selected at random or with a preference based on age, gender, education, profession, location etc. depending on what is needed for the survey.

Why aren’t I receiving any invitations to participate in surveys?

Every member in our online panel receives invitations to participate in surveys, usually within a few days of registering. Unfortunately, some e-mail services think our invitations are spam. For this reason, we ask that you regularly check your spam folder and make any necessary setting changes. Adding This email address is being protected from spambots. Why am I receiving a message saying that a sufficient number of members have already participated in the survey shortly after beginning a survey?

The Internet and e-mails are fast. Our participants often react so quickly that a survey closes before everyone who was invited has a chance to participate. Since we never know how many people will actually participate, we always invite more people than needed. This is something we have to do so that we can ensure our customers that the desired number of respondents will participate in the survey within the allotted time frame.

Why am I receiving a message saying that I am not a member of the survey’s target group shortly after beginning a survey?

We don’t always know if you actually belong to the target group when we send out an invitation. Sometimes a certain target group is determined in advance based on certain characteristics that are not included in your profile. For this reason, you may occasionally receive an e-mail invitation to a survey even though you are not part of the target group. We use specific questions at the start of the survey, for example, regarding specific consumer behavior, to determine whether or not a participant belongs to the target group. If it emerges that you do not belong to the target group, the survey will end or we will try to find a different survey in the system that we can automatically transfer you to.

How can I update my profile?

You can update your profile by logging in with your user name and password. Please remember to keep your profile up-to-date.

I can’t log in. What should I do?

Please try again using the user information sent to you. Pay attention to upper case and lower case writing and don’t use any spaces. If possible, try using a different browser. If this does not work, have your password sent to you again. You can do this from the login page.

My e-mail address has changed. What should I do?

Please send us an e-mail with your old e-mail address and your new e-mail address using the contact form. We will then change your information in the system. You cannot, unfortunately, change your e-mail address yourself.

I forgot my password. What should I do?

You can request a new password from the login page. The sender will be This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. These e-mails often end up in the spam folder. Please check there if you have not received the e-mail after a few minutes.

How can I delete my profile?

You can easily delete your profile and all of your personal information by logging in and clicking “Unsubscribe”.
